Black Range Vineyards in Hillsboro

Black Range Vineyards is located in the small town of Hillsboro, New Mexico, an old
gold mining settlement perched at the gateway to the Gila National Forest. Giant
cottonwood trees line the shady streets, one of the many lures that make this magical
little burg a haven for artists, musicians, writers and the slightly crazed.
Our 1890’s era adobe has been the former home of banks, bars, restaurants, hotels,
galleries and even a bordello. These days it houses our tasting room, office and lodge
room, where we entertain the local populace as well as any visiting foreign dignitaries.
Here you can taste our Black Range Vineyards label, which we grow and vint just up the
canyon, or any of the great local wines that we feature on a rotating basis. Our main
street patio is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite glass or bottle, visit with friends
and watch cars drive by (a favorite local pastime).
We hope you can stop in for a leisurely visit. If not, please wave as you go by, we like
that too.
